●過激な写真集の出版を差し止める ban (the publication of) a collection of extreme photographs

・出入りを差し止める prohibit sb (from) entering 《one's house》; forbid sb to go to another's house; cut sb off (from a family)

・埋め立て計画を差し止める suspend [call a halt to] plans for a landfill site
